If she could, Andrée Poulin would read from morning to night—in fact, her love of reading is what brought her to writing in the first place. After working as a journalist for many years, she went into international development, then began writing picture books and novels dealing with friendship, empathy, tolerance, poverty, and solidarity. Poulin is a TD Canadian Children’s Literature Award winner and three-time Hackmatack Children’s Choice Book Award finalist. Recent books include Burying the Moon, That’s Not Hockey!, and The Biggest Poutine in the World.
